Subway:

 

Take the 1 train to 231st street, and cross to the northwest corner, where a Chase bank is located.  From the bus stop in front of Dunkin Donuts, take the BX7, Bx10 or Bx20 bus to 246th Street.

 

Bus: 

 

If coming from North Riverdale, take the Bx10 or Bx7 to 246th Street. Follow 246th Street away from the highway, in front of you as you exit the bus.

 

If coming from South Riverdale or other areas of the Bronx/Northern Manhattan, take the local (BX7, Bx10 or Bx20) or express bus (BxM1 or BxM2) to 246th Street, cross over the highway, and continue  along 246th Street.

 

Car:

 

From Westchester and Connecticut:

Take the Saw Mill Parkway to the Henry Hudson Parkway, Exit 21.  At the light, make a right turn onto 246th Street.

 

From Manhattan and the George Washington Bridge:

Take the Henry Hudson Parkway to exit 21.  At the light, make a left turn onto 246th Street.

Once you reach 246th Street: Consider parking anywhere indicated on 246th Street or Independence Avenue. Parking  is generally available during the day, but pay attention to the alternate side of the street parking signs on Independence Avenue, particularly between 11:30-1 on Mondays and Wednesdays.

​

600 West 246th Street: The building is found easily by the fountain and large circular driveway marked by white pillars labelled with the address.  You will see the office's brown door about 25 feet to the right of the entrance, up three cement steps. Please use the path to reach the office, and come inside. 

​

If you require wheelchair access, please call in advance of the appointment, so arrangements may be coordinated with the doorman to provide appropriate access from the driveway to the side of the building.
